Best options and day trading communities on Whop (2026): 16 alert rooms and academies compared
Sixteen of the largest stock, options and futures trading communities on Whop with their prices, member counts and reviews — and a short guide to judging an alert room by its trade log rather than its Instagram.
Trading is the largest category on Whop after sports betting, and it splits into three products that get sold under the same word "community": alert rooms (someone posts entries and exits in real time), academies (a course plus a Discord), and mentorships (small groups, four-figure prices). The table mixes all three; the notes say which is which. Prices and member counts come from each whop's product page, September 2026; revenue estimates are third-party (WhopTrends, TopWhops) and are marked.

How to read an alert room
The price of the alerts is not the cost of the alerts. A $29/mo room with 10,000 members and a $280/mo room with 1,000 members can post the same setups. What differs is what happens to your fill when 10,000 people hit the same 0DTE strike thirty seconds after the alert. Bigger is not better for a follower; it is better for the seller.
Ask for the log, not the highlights. Every room above has a pinned "results" channel. What you want instead is the full list: every alert, entry, exit, size, and the time it was posted. If the room will not give it to you, the highlights are the marketing budget.
Compute expectancy on what you would have actually got. Take the last 50 alerts, apply a realistic slippage (a few cents on liquid options, more on weeklies), your size, and commissions. Formula and a worked example: how to calculate expectancy and profit factor. If it is negative after slippage, the room's own record is irrelevant.
Watch the weekly and trial plans. Stock Dads, Sniper Trades, StocksWithJosh and Full Port sell a weekly or a $0 trial. Use it as designed — two weeks, flat size, every alert logged — and decide on your own numbers.
Your results are the only ones that matter
Following a good room badly is the most common way to lose money in trading communities: late entries, oversized "conviction" plays, revenge trades after the room's loss. Log every trade you take — from the alert or not — with the setup, whether it was planned, and how you felt at entry (1–5). After a month, the comparison "planned vs unplanned" and "emotion 4–5 vs 1–2" will tell you what the room is worth to you. Template: free trading journal CSV; Sharpen computes the comparisons on every import and flags tilt entries with their cost.
Room owners: a verified track record — every alert timestamped when logged, locked 24 hours later — is the answer to the screenshot debate, and it embeds on your Whop product page.
