Best sports betting picks communities on Whop (September 2026): prices, members, and what to check before you pay

Fourteen of the biggest sports betting picks whops compared — monthly and weekly prices, member counts, review scores, billing cycles — plus the five questions that separate a capper with an edge from a capper with a screenshot.

Whop is where most paid picks communities live now: checkout, Discord access and renewals in one place, and a public page with member counts and reviews. That page is also why comparing cappers got easier — the prices and sizes below come straight from each whop's product page, read in September 2026. Revenue figures are third-party estimates (WhopTrends) and are marked as such.

A community with 20,000 members is not proof of an edge; it is proof of marketing. The section after the table is about how to tell the difference.

"Members shown" is the number on the whop page, which usually includes a free tier; where the paid count was visible we used it. Estimated monthly revenue, per WhopTrends (August–September 2026): Thooth Pings ~$597k, GOAT Sports Bets ~$280–330k, Wager Ranger ~$344k, Stat Betz ~$150k, MC Sports ~$100k. Treat those as orders of magnitude.

What the prices tell you

Weekly billing is the norm at the top. Thooth, GOAT, Wager Ranger, MC Sports, TopTier and Stat Betz all bill weekly. For you it means a low entry price and an easy exit; for the capper it means a card gets charged 52 times a year, which is why they push annual plans hard once you are in.

The two-week plan is the trial. Cook The Books ($30), Juiced ($29.99), ParlayScience ($25) and Defy The Odds ($35) all sell a 14-day plan. Two weeks is 14 slates in NFL/NBA season — enough to see the process, not enough to judge the results. Judge the process.

Price says nothing about edge. Stat Betz charges $100/week and Wager Ranger $10/week. Neither number is evidence either way. The only evidence is a record you can audit.

Five questions before you pay a capper

  1. Can I see every pick, including the losers, with a timestamp before the game started? A results image is not a record. A page where each pick was logged before tip-off and cannot be quietly edited afterwards is. (This is exactly what a verified track record on Sharpen does: entries are timestamped when logged and lock 24 hours later; edits after the lock stay visible with the previous value.)
  2. What is the closing line value? A capper who beats the closing line consistently has an edge even during a losing month. One who does not is running hot. Ask for it; the good ones track it.
  3. What is the unit size and the drawdown? "Up 40 units" means nothing without the max drawdown. Up 40 with a 60-unit drawdown is a coin flip with a good ending.
  4. How many picks per day? More than 8–10 a day across sports is volume for the sake of content. Your bankroll cannot follow it with flat stakes anyway.
  5. What happens when I lose the first two weeks? The answer tells you whether they think in seasons or in billing cycles.

Track your own results, whoever you follow

Even a real edge from a capper disappears in your own execution: late bets at worse lines, doubling after a loss, skipping the boring plays. Log every bet you place — the pick, the line you got, the stake — and after 100 bets compare your yield to the capper's. Free template: sports betting bankroll tracker. If you log in Sharpen, it also prices your tilt: entries within 90 minutes of two straight losses, with what they cost you.

Cappers: if your record is real, publishing it verified is the cheapest marketing you will ever do — how it works.
